Time To Move On

I was in Church yesterday and my pastor put up an amzing idea. Sometimes if not all times in life, one has to move on. I immediately remembered Nicole C. Mullen's song I AM starts At the end of every rainbow/ there's a promise proven true. This is an amazing revelation for me for there have been times in my life when I have thought I have reached the end of the tether. There have been times when it has been so tough that anything that comes my way is willing to put me off the hook and to suffocate me. There have been times of joy, certainly, but all these run out of the window as soon as things go tough.

God has granted us the wisdom to know that life is what we make it. Job had the right to listen to his wife when she told him to curse God and die. He however chose the other side and stuck to his faith in his God. I think of a woman like Esther. She had but one choice, the decision to save her people. The mistake we make is to think that she only had to fast for 3 days before coming to a final conclusion. No. She battled with the idea, looked at all possible avenues and agonised for ling before making up her mind. When she stood to believe in her God, she was determined to make it. It is no wonder she took the step and decided to either perish or save her people. God used what she had. If she had not saved them, He would have used another person, after all He never lets His people down.

This to me has shown how many times we have though that life is so complex. We have held on to the belief that all we can have is a narrow lifestyle that gives no way out for us. In that beautiful musical The Sound of Music the song about the beautiful things always inspires me to think of a way out of the hardships we face. However, when the nun tells us to climb every mountain and search high and low, to follow every by-way till we find our dream, I think finally it's time we then ought to step out of our own darkness and make it to the next level.

Think of the times you have though it is all over for you. Think of the loowest moments you have had. God still looks down upon you expecting you to let Him into the situation. Once we get tired of our terrible state, we have got to the point of letting Him in. He then will lead us to the next level. Remeber, God uses what we have, not what He has. he asked Moses what he had in his hand. Elijah asked the widow what she had. The same applied to Elisha. Once we realise that God is to use us and can truly get us there, then we have got the idea. He's no fool to let us know that we can get over our pain and hurt. He simply wants us to move on.

Think of the tough times you've gone through and how God has been there rfor you., Think of Ruth's decision to follow her mother in law wherever she went and her decision to follow her God. Think of the possibilites God has for you. All you have to do is to sit back, let God have His way and move on. Hecannot tell a lie and He's not about to. Give Him the chance and take the first step. He wants you to move to the unknown and to let Him take over. He's willing to let you be happy, Are you willing to let Him have His way?
